Leave Chiang Mai for Shan Village by  truck

Luch will be provided at Hot Spring. After lunch walk to  Karen.

Walk up  and down hill to another Karen  Village

Walk to the elephant  camp.

Rafting  to Shan Village. Lunch at Shan Village.

Leave  Shan by truck to Chiang Mai

Visit  Wat Chiang Mun, the oldest temple within the city walls. Drive through  many different parts of the morthern capital, passing residential areas,  notable foreign establishments, handsome government buildings. Drive  through Ta Pae, the main street and shopping centre, and on to three other  splendid temples: Wan Chedi Luang, where the Emerald Buddha was once  snshrined, Wat Phra Singh where a 1500 years old Buddha image and fine  carvings are to be found and Wat Suan Dok where the ashes of Chiang Mai's  Rayal Family are interred. Proceed to Wad Ched Yod with its seven spires  and unusual architecture commemoration year 200 of the Buddhist  era.

After excursion - transfer to  airport (Railway station) in Chiang  Mai

NOTE  : This is  essentially an adventure tour, unsuitable for very young or very old.  Travelers should be reasonably fit, as forest walking is included and  transport may be by open mini-truck. Overnight accommodation is very  simple, in local-style lodges, without private facilities. An overnight  stay in Chiang Mai before departure for this tour is  recommended.
